Programming

Nick India contains a lot of cartoon programmes that appeal to children such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Ninja Hattori. Besides that, educational shows for toddlers, like Dora The Explorer, are featured in Nick India's pre-school block, Nick Jr. Nick at Nite was set to launch on July 31, 2010, but it was later shelved for unknown reason.

Nickelodeon India does not broadcast new programmes such as Fanboy and Chum Chum, Fairly Odd Parents, TUFF Puppy and live action shows like iCarly, House of Anubis and Big Time Rush. Fairly Odd Parents used to air on Nick India but it has been cancelled. Nickelodeon India is now airing Power Rangers Mystic Force, but only refers to it as a general series brand. However, pictures and descriptions of Power Rangers Samurai are shown on Nick India's website.

When the channel was launched, it aired mostly original programs. Few of them are Klasky Csupo programs, like Rugrats, Aaahh! Real Monsters, As told by Ginger, Rocket Power, The Wild Thornberrys and other animated shows like The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Rocko's Modern Life, Angry Beavers, Catdog, Hey Arnold!, The Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom. The network used to air live action shows as well, such as Kenan & Kel, Drake and Josh, Clarissa Explains It All, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Nick Bites and lots more. Recently, Nickelodeon India is becoming more diverse from all of its international counterparts. The network continuously airs Nicktoon shows while broadcasting locally made shows and acquired ones from around the world.
